Original period manufacture. Clean 10 inch polished steel blade with a sawback spine and an early Eickhorn proof on its ricasso. Black horn checkered grips with some bug nibbling on the top of the obverse side grip. Polished steel guard and pommel. Black painted steel scabbard with two throat screws, perhaps an old repaint, minor scattered denting.
