Original era manufacture. Quill back blade, displaying a dark steel patina finish, with patches of surface corrosion; the point is rounded. Clear markings on the ricasso and spine, ERFURT, along with a Crown W 03. Black paint finish on the guard and pommel, sound wooden grips showing typical marring and bumping from service use. The blade runs straight and true.
