Original era manufacture. A sound example of the M1915 Infantry helmet as issued to a soldier serving in Guard Infantry regiment. Nice dark gray finish to the metal components (the removable spike is a slightly lighter shade), no extra holes behind the wappen, and both visors are securely stitched to the body.On the inside of the rear visor K.B.A.G. markings can be seen, in addition to a 1915 date. Very dark black pigskin liner. Both original kokarden are present, the chinstrap is an old replacement which has toned nicely over the years. Size marked 57.
