German WWI M1915 Prussian Enlisted Pickelhaube

Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Prussian Infantry enlisted helmet adopted in 1915. Size marked 56 1/2 inside the crown with depot inkstamps on the rear neckguard. The body is sound, secure stitching throughout without any surface loss to the leather. Grey metal fittings with an original Prussian wappen on the front with no extra mounting holes, one leather wedge remains. The removable spike is an original piece but I would say came from another helmet as the color is off just a bit from the remainder of the fittings. Some surface cleaning is in evidence but all in all quite presentable. The front visor trim is securely attached with some wrinkling to the surface on the back. Small amount of leather loss on the front edge of the visor behind the metal trim. Original brown leather chinstrap with alloy fittings, original Prussian and national cockades.
