Original era manufacture. Here we have a field recovered example of an early German stick grenade. A massive steel warhead with a crimped metal cap and bottom. Belt hook on the side and a black painted exterior finish. The can is empty of explosives and presents a pitted exterior from exposure to the elements but remains quite sound for display. The wooden handle is an original in our opinion with faint markings still visible. The handle and collar will unscrew from the head so you can see inside.
