Original era manufacture. Standard pattern M1916 steel helmet as worn by German troops during the Great War. Original camouflage paint finish as shown. Scattered areas of surface corrosion, and a few dabs of garage paint on the exterior. Overall it is sound example, no cracks in the steel or denting. Both chinstrap loops remain, one moves, the other is frozen in position.
