Original era manufacture. A very clean example of an early production helmet made by the firm of Gebruder Gnuchtel of Saxony. Size marked 62 on the neckskirt, and maker marked G. Most of the original light feldgrau paint finish remains intact, with steel patina beneath, metal liner band and all three original rivets are in place as well.Traces of mud and other debris inside the helmets edge, liner band and around the base of the chinstrap mounting studs.
