Original period manufacture. A very sound example with most of its original feldgrau paint surface remaining, maker and size marked on the skirt, G62 (Gebrueder Gnuechtel A.G., Lauter i./Sa), original steel liner band and rivets securely in place. Fragments of the original leather liner and one half of its chinstrap are present for parts.
