Original era manufacture. This is a very nice example, just needing its liner pads to complete. Nearly all of the original feldgrau paint finish remains, no denting or corrosion damage to note. All of the original liner band rivets are present and continue to do their job of holding the liner band in place. Amazingly the original, unbroken leather chinstrap is present as well. It is a bit weak on one side where it connects to the metal loop but that can be reinforced with a little bit of leather backing. Honest WWI era steel helmet.
