Original period manufacture. A clean example with most of the original feldgrau paint finish remaining. Maker and size marked on the inside of the neck skirt, Si-66. The front of the helmet has rectangular panel in a different shade, or better said, the original, non-patina color, caused perhaps from the removal of a mailing label placed there at one time. Steel liner band which is secured with three original rivets showing the same patina color as the helmet. The liner has been replaced with a good quality leather liner. Original chinstrap complete with all fittings, repairable break on the left side.
