Original era manufacture. This is a nice little grouping of medals and documents awarded to one Dionysius Wirtz, Buchhalter from Hermulheim. In WWI Wirtz served with the 2nd Company, Reserve Infantry Regiment 16. The lot includes the document for his EK2 with medal, the document for the Hindenberg Cross with Medal, the document for the Kriegsdenkmunze Medal 1914/18 with bars for Perthes, Somme-Schlacht, Verdun, Cambrai, Argonnen with a wonderful medal displaying the very same bars. Just a great little set from a regiment which saw considerable action during WWI.
