Original era manufacture. These rather unusual insignia are a matched pair, and came in with the WWI German enlisted shoulder straps we listed last week. As with the straps, these have a small brass tag with stamped numbers attached to each.Shield shaped, measuring 100 mm in length, dark green velevet covering with gold bullionwire embroidery. One of the insignia has an old paper tag on the reverse.
