Original era manufacture. A wartime quality private purchase field cap of dark feldgrau silk, with red wool piping and a black velvet cap band. Maroon silk interior lining with a pale gray oil cloth sweatband. Patent leather visor and adjustable chinstrap, with officer quality cockades. On the left side of the cap band is a Karpathancorps cap badge. Minor mothing to the bottom edge of the cap body, not crushed or broken, the stitching is sound.
