Original era manufacture. Standard pattern M1916 steel helmet, BF64 (F.C. Bellinger, Fulda),as worn by German troops during the Great War, with an original, hand appliedcamouflage paint finish.Most of the originalthree color camouflage paint finish remains intact, with the factory feldgrau paint finish on the interior. The three original rivets are present; the proper, thick style rivet is not on theback of the helmet, rather on the right front, with a flat rivet in its place. The paint finish on each rivet matches exactly the camouflage it is placed in.Most of the original three pad leather liner remains, showing age and wear, with some of the fingers pulled through.Honest original WWI camouflage helmet.
