Original era manufacture. At the onset of WWI an outpouring of patriotic sentiment by the German people caused the German porcelain industry to swing into production of an amazing array of items to fill that need. This fine quality ashtray is just a single example of this effort. It measures 5x8 inches with a multicolor decoration with its makers mark on the reverse. No damage, in near new condition.
