Original era manufacture. Ok, ok we're not exactly sure that this boxes original purpose was, keepsake, humidor, jewelry box, don't know. It certainly is well made, steel construction all round with a green paper lining. The lid is decorated with a raised decoration of an EK1 with the dates of 1914-1916 Aus Eiserner Zeit, our Iron time. Measures 6x4x3 inches, uncleaned, light surface corrosin and staining from age. No damage or dents.
