Original era manufacture. German WWI Prussian pressed felt pickelhaube, which while complete, is a composite helmet in our opinion. First, with the exception of the chinstrap, all of the components are original; nice pressed felt body complete with lining, removable spike, Prussian enlisted wappen, and original kokardes, one being from the 76th regiment  of Hamburg.The body is sound, with a rolled under edge, no damage, nice clean original liner without a drawstring.Glued to the interior of the helmet is a paper tag indicating the helmet's wartime issue to Landsturmmann Lattakat, which has been aged to appear original. In my opinion it has been added later.The helmet remains a great source for parts and a base for a correct restoration.
