Original era manufacture. Black leather bodied helmet with securely sewn front and rear visors. No extra holes behind the wappen, original Prussian and national kokardes, and of course a removable ball top. Army corps markings on the rear visor B.A.VIII with what appears to be a 1916 date. The chinstrap is a modern replacement, and there is a split in the front visor trim. Otherwise a very sound helmet.
