Original era manufacture. A complete example of a M1915 enlisted pickelhaube, with Garde eagle wappen, chinstrap and both Prussian and national kokarden.No extra holes behind the wappen, with the metal loops secured by wedges of leather. Although the garde eagle has toned to a different shade than the spike and base, the shoulders of the eagle's wings have made indentations into the leather body of the helmet.Original leather chinstrap with steel adjusting buckles. The liner is complete with drawstring, faint Garde depot stamps and 1915 date, on the left side of the neck guard interior, with very clear, E.R.1 on the right side.
