Original era manufacture. Brass trimmed enlisted helmet with replacement chinstrap and kokardes.The helmet is very sound, both visors are securely fastened to the helmet, and the brass fittings have a nice patina to them. There are no extra holes behind the wappen, with brass rings set into the helmet body, which the eagle plate loops pass through, then secured with old brass cotter pins. Complete, original black leather lining which remains very pliable. There is evidence of a very well done old repair to the leather body behind the helmet plate. Invisible from the front, having to pull up the original liner to see it at all. Small size, looks great for display.
