Original era manufacture. A sound example of the classic Prussian enlisted helmet as worn during the opening months of WWI. This brass trimmed helmet has no extra holes behind the eagle wappen, clear unit markings and 1909 date on the rear neckguard. Original national and Prussian kokarden, full original black leather liner. It has a good quality reproduction chinstrap, the leather liner adjusting string is missing and the stitching on the neckuard has come loose on one side. Honest, 100 year old helmet.
