Original era manufacture. A very clean example of an original M1915 Prussian, gray trim enlisted Pickelhaube, size marked 52. Securely sewn visors, original finish to the leather body with no flaking, and original gray trim metal fittings throughout. The liner is intact, but has some fairly severe staining on one side. Likely this helmet never left the depot, and was perhaps one of the helmets sent to the USA for a War Bond Drive in 1919. No extra holes behind the wappen. An excellent base for an easy restoration.
