Original period manufacture. A presentable gray trim pickelhaube of a pattern introduced in 1915. The body is sound and stitching are sound, no extra holes behind the wappen, in fact, the leather wedges look original to the helmet. The removable spike looks to have come from another helmet as the metal finish does not match. No liner and the rear visor sides have curled in.
