Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Prussian enlisted helmet adopted in 1915. Clean metal fittings throughout, each retaining most of the original matt gray finish. No extra holes behind the wappen; the visors are securely stitched to the body of the helmet, with faint markings on the underside of the rear visor.The helmet liner is complete and supple, and is size marked 55 inside the crown.The chinstrap is from a WWII German Police shako with aluminum buckles and loops, original cockades but these appear to have been touched up at some point in the past.
