Original period photography. A clear image of a rather unusual subject matter, that of an Imperial German Navy Pilot, wearing his pilot's badge and the EK1. The large Navy pattern cap wreath is clearly visible, full length view, of the man standing on a sand dune strewn beach, with his faithful German Shepherd beside him. Period inscription on the reverse.
