Original era manufacture. Twelve inch polished steel blade maker marked on the ricasso with a crown proof on the spine. The blade is clean and shows traces of old intelligent sharpening to the edge and point. Sound wood grips, with a dark steel patina to the pommel. The scabbard is of black painted steel with scattered denting from service use.
