Original era manufacture. A very sound example which is Crown W 17 proofed on the blade spine. On the obverse ricasso the knight on horseback BAYARD proof can be seen and on the reverse the Gottlieb-Hammesfahr proof. Nice wood grips, steel patina finish overall, with some light surface denting on the reverse of the scabbard.
