Original period manufacture. A sound example with an early leather bodied scabbard. The blade is quite clean with no issues beyond normal age and wear. Erfurt arsenal markings on the ricasso and Crown W 15 proof on the spine. Steel patina pommel and guard with an operable lock button. Sound wood grips with some marring and bumping on the right side. Black leather frog is pliable and looks to have been trimmed a bit at the belt loop, perhaps by the original owner. Brass rivets are intact and the side seam stitching shows an old repair. Sound stitching to the scabbard body with dark steel patina to the tip and throat.
