German WWI S84/98 Bayonet Frog, Unit Marked

Original era manufacture. Black leather frog with basically sound stitching, missing one steel rivet the other is in it's place. It is not crushed or flattened, no evidence of a leather preservative application. On the reverse are clearly stamped two unit markings, one atop the other. On the belt loop a rectangular panel which once perhaps displayed the date. The most visible of the unit markings which appear to be as follows: 1.Kfrl.Ers.Abt.2.5.. Small nick in the top edge of the body.
