Original period manufacture. Overall pleasing steel patina finish with no issues, bright steel blade with clear makers markings on both sides of the blade, crown W 17 proof on the spine. Blade looks to have been cleaned a long time ago. Original wooden grips showing typical age and wear. Correct pattern scabbard with the throat screw placed just above the frog stud.
