Original era manufacture. Alexander Coppel mfg, quill back, polished steel blade, which is marked on the spine, Crown W 05, and unit marked on the guard, 15.R.3.17 (Prinz Friedrich der Niederlande, Westfalisches Nr 2). Second pattern, two piece wood grips, polished steel guard and pommel, with a working lock button. Steel patina finish overall, with some light pitting on the pommel. Blade displays a steel patina finish, with some very light peppering from cleaned corrosion. All steel scabbard with about 20 per cent of its black paint finish remaining, light scattered denting, with steel patina finish.
