Original era manufacture. Bright finished blade which is double marked, Mundlos & Co Magdeburg on the obverse ricasso, Gebr Hartkopf on the reverse. The blade surface shows evidence of old cleaned corrosion with some light pitting in the surface. Sound wood grips showing typical marring from age and use. Steel patina finish to the pommel and guard with light pitting visible. Lock button works properly but is a bit weak. Dent free steel scabbard showing a steel patina finish with old cleaned corrosion.
