Original era manufacture. Standard pattern 98/05 bayonet, mix of blue and patina finish to the Weyersberg marked blade, Crown 17 proofed on the spine, the cutting edge is lightly sharpened.  Dark steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, with the guard being dated 1920 on one side, and on the opposite the letter S in a circle.Original finish wooden grips with minor marring and bumping to the surface, no cracks or chips to the wood. The scabbard has minor denting, with a mix of steel patina, light surface corrosion and blue finish. Sound original WWII pattern leather frog.
