Original era manufacture. A very clean example with a bright steel blade made by Waffenfabrik, Mauser, with faint issue markings on the spine.The blade is very clean, displaying runner wear only, very minor corrosion issues, and the cutting edge is not sharpened. Even, bright steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. Original finish wooden grips with minor marring and bumping to the surface, no cracks or chips. The scabbard has a black painted finish, with some rather severe denting to the surface, making the blade a bit of a tug to draw. The frog is of patent leather, showing age and use, with the strap of a knot still affixed to the waist of the frog.
