Original era manufacture. Classic German service bayonet of WWI. The blade is brightish, with scattered staining to the surface, with a sound point and cutting edge. Crown W 15 proofed on the spine. Dark patina finish to the guard, flash guard and pommel. Dark finish to the wood grips, displaying scattered bumping and marring from service use.Dark, heavy corrosion finish to the dent-free steel scabbard, original black leather belt frog and sound stitching.
