Original era manufacture.  Maker marked Bright finished blade with an unsharpened edge and a sharp point. Maker marked on the ricasso of the scabbard Simson & Suhl,  spine date of 15 with a crown W proof.  The blade presents scattered areas of corrosion staining and spotting but is basically clean. No flashguard, original ribbed wood grips show some typical denting from age and use. The sawteeth are basically intact however the center section looks as it an attempt at their removal was begun and then stopped, as the teeth are not as pronounced as at the tip and base. No scabbard.
