Original era manufacture. Standard S98/05 sawback bayonet made by Waffenfabrik Mauser, bright finished blade with no corrosion issues, crown proof 16 on the spine. Sound serrated wood grips, showing very minor marring and bumping from service use. Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. The blue steel scabbard is unmarked, showing a mix of blue and steel patina. Scattered fairly minor denting to the surface. Clean bayonet overall.
