Original RPC. Sepia tone image by Sanke-Berlin of Walter Gottsch, credited with 20 victories during WWI. He stands before a fighter aircraft in winter fur coat.He was awarded the Iron Cross 1st & 2nd class, and the Hohenzollern House Order before his death in combat on 10 April 1918.The reverse displays old adhesive from being mounted in a display, and penciled notations regarding his death.
