Original era manufacture. A sound example of the 1895 pattern enlisted buckle as worn by soldier in the 102nd Infantry Regiment. Brass bodied with a nickel center disc, the reverse is maker marked G.H.Osang, Dresden, 1914, and the upper framed edge of the buckle is unit marked, 102.R.Original sewn brown leather adjusting tab, showing typical age and wear. Saxony really had us collectors in mind, as they provide the greatest variety of buckle patterns of the Imperial era, with many being unit marked, or regimentally unique.
