Original era manufacture. Black painted, pressed steel helmet with brass spike, base, spine, visor trim and chinstrap lugs. The interior of the helmet displays its original paint finish, with scattered areas of light surface corrosion. The exterior finish has been redone. Original black leather liner and drawstring, with a good quality replacement chinstrap. Correct Saxon pattern enlisted kokarden with most of their paint remaining intact. Nice brass and silver alloy Saxon pattern wappen on the front.
