Original era manufacture. A very clean example of the issue Saxon helmet of 1915, likely never issued, exhibiting storage and handling wear.Even matt gray finish to the metal fittings, original chinstrap, with the Saxon pattern kokarden.Tan leather liner which is complete with its original leather drawstring, no extra holes behind the wappen, both the front and rear visors are securely stitched to the body of the helmet.The only negative to note is that the edges of the rear visor are lightly stained from moisture.
