Original era manufacture. A sound and fairly complete example of an issue Saxon M1915 enlisted Pickelhaube. The front and rear visors are sewn tight, no extra holes behind the wappen, in fact the original leather wedges still hold the Saxon wappen securely. The rear visor edge is curled under a bit on the right side and has stiffened with age. Thankfully the correct pattern Saxon kokarde in green and white is in place on the left side post and a worn national kokarde on the right side. Both kokardes were with the helmet at the time of our purchase. The liner is intact and has its original leather drawstring tied to the rearmost section of the liner. Size marked 55.
