original period photograph. Nice studio study of a German Army officer who has been decorated with the Iron Cross 1st Class & the Black Wound Badge. His Lion Head sword leans against his left hand while clutching his gloves. Keen eyed observers will note that he has dented the scabbard, no doubt a point of consternation to this proud officer. Overall measures 5x8" with Karlsruhe Photographer logo on the reverse. One available.
