Original era manufacture. An unusual WWI pattern wound badge, made in a similar fashion as a WWII badge.Solid, cast construction, with a ball hinge, thin alloy mounting pin, and a makers mark of 21 on the reverse,  Godet, Berlin.Slightly smaller in diameter than a typical badge, almost a Prinzen style. Nice old silver patina finish.
