Original era manufacture. Soldbuch size Uberweisungsnationale book, filled out to a man born in 1897, induction class of 1914. He served in the 5th Garde Grenadier Regt, earned the Iron Cross 2nd Class, and transferred into the Fleiger-beobachterschule in 1917, where he ended the war. He rose to the rank of Unteroffizier. Many entries, first page is loose.
