Original era manufacture. 45 x 50 mm bronze cross, which I believe honors the establishment of a soldiers relief society on 1 August 1870, and the re-establishment of the service in 1914.At the time of our purchase the ribbon was attached to the loop by black thread, this has since broken, so I do not know if the ribbon is correct or not.
