Original period manufacture. A very fine example displaying a fair amount of original feldgrau paint finish, mixed with metal patina. No corrosion pitting to the surface. Comes with all three original rivets, including the correct pattern rear rivet, and the original steel liner band. Maker and size marked (faintly) on the inside neck skirt, Si66, Eisenhuette Silesia. Excellent restoration candidate, or leave it as is and enjoy it. It's only original once.
