Original era manufacture. Dark golden yellow cotton embroidery on black silk, very clean with no damage.The ship Kronprinz Wilhelm had an interesting career, bringing HRH Prince Heinrich to the US in 1902 to pick up his brothers new yacht, SMS Meteor.At the outbreak of war in 1914 she served as a surface raider, capturing or sinking a number of Allied ships. She was forced into a neutral port (USA)due to a lack of coal and food supplies. Interned after the US entry into the war, she became the USSvon Steuben andserved as a troopship.Sold for scrap after 1923.
