Original era manufacture. A very clean M1916 helmet shell displaying the makers and size marking on the skirt, G62, (Gebrueder Gnuechtel A.G., Lauter i./Sa). The helmet has a postwar applied olive green paint finish, a nicely done handpainted Bavarian shield on the left side, and a nice quality replica chinstrap installed. All three rivets are in place, however these are new construction as well.
