Original era manufacture. Modified from a German per WWI era sword, into a fighting knife for frontline use. Overall measures 15 inches, with a 10 inch blade. Black plastic wrapped grip with triple strand wire binding. The blade has been nicely modified with a beveled top edge measuring about two inches, and a nicely cut-down guard with the curve portion expertly removed and finished. Normal age and wear.
